Gods

Ansehen im Spiel
The Egyptions worshipped many Gods. To serve and sacrifice is the highest goal for every Egyptian.

Priests

The priests in the temple offer the sacrifices to the Gods. New citizens can be added to the temple as priests. Priests cannot be taken from the temple.

Sacrifices for the Gods

When you bring sacrifices to the Gods they will reward you in several ways:
  • 5 points for every unit of Gold
  • 6 points for every unit of Myrrh
  • sqrt(amount of food)
To be able to sacrifice, you need at least one priest in the temple. In a season you can sacrifice a maximum of 1,000 bundles of grain, 50 units of Gold and 50 units of Myrrh.

Consecration

A special ritual is the ritual of Consecration. At this spectacle Myrrh is sacrified to the Gods. The Gods reward the Ruler that sacrifices the largest amount of Myrrh with a Battle Sign for one of his Generals.
At the Consecration, every priest can only sacrifice one unit of Myrrh. So you need to ensure you have enough priests available.
There are 14 Battle Signs available. When they have all been awarded, the Gods cannot give out more. But they will still gladly accept your offerings of Myrrh!
If two or more Rulers sacrifice the same amount of Myrrh, only one will get a Battle Sign.

Regards

The Regard of a Ruler represents his popularity with his citizens. It will change from turn to turn as it is recalculated at the end of every turn. The calculation of the Regards depends on many factors, listed below. The only factor that is carried over to the next turn is the number of battles won and lost, the rest of the factor are recalculated every turn.
  • Every 100 population: 1 point
  • Every Nile province you own: 8 points
  • Every Oasis, Sinai, or Red Sea province you own: 5 points
  • Every Desert or mountain province you own: 2 points
  • Every Uproar or Rebellion: -10 points
  • For Sacrifices: x points
  • Every Priest: 2 points
  • Every Priest starving: -2 points
  • Every 10 Chariots or Shemsu Guards: 1 point
  • Every 20 Axe Warriors: 1 point

  • Every 40 Garrison Troops: 1 point
  • Every Battle Won: 20 points
