In ANOPHIS it is very important to choose your enemies wisely.

Stance towards other Rulers

You can set your diplomatic stance towards other Rulers. There are three possible settings:

• Alliance - You allow troops of the allied Ruler to move through your provinces.
• Neutral - The Ruler cannot move through your provinces.
• War - Your armies can attack and conquer this Rulers provinces.

The diplomatic stance towards every other Ruler is listed under the menu "Diplomacy".
If you have a Stance toward another Ruler, it does not necessarily mean that he will have the same Stance towards you. You can have an allied Stance towards him but the traitor can declare war on you and conquer your provinces.

Spies

Every Ruler has 2 spies available. Every season they can execute one of the following missions:

• Military Espionage
• Civil Espionage
• Start Uproar
